Below is a list of Recurring and continuous volunteer opportunities as well as their contact info. These opportunities may not be shown on the calendar above.

  • Morgan County Golden Stars

    Needing assistance with present wrappers for their holiday distribution from now until 12/5/2025.  Times available Monday- Friday from 9:30am-5pm at 102 W 9th Ave. Fort Morgan Co.  

    Come as long or as little as you want.

  • Wayfinders English Volunteer Program

    Teach English 1-to-1 to an immigrant motivated to improve their language skills. Books and training are provided. The main requirement is a willingness to engage with someone from a different culture. As a bonus you get to know their family and culture. 2 hours/week.   • S.H.A.R.E -Domestic Violence Advocates

    In need of volunteers to organize clothing donations.  Please call 970-867-4444 for details and to coordinate times with staff.

  • Gene Doty Senior Center Meet & Eat Program

    Monday-Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm. Volunteers needed to deliver meals to residents' doorsteps. Looking for individuals who can volunteer on a regular basis and occasional volunteers who can step in as substitute drivers. Must complete an application at the Senior Center at 307 Linda St. in Fort Morgan, have a valid driver's license, insurance and mode of transportation, and complete a background check. Also looking for people to help with the sign in desk clerks position. For more information call Judy Clayton at 970-571-5073 or stop by the senior center between 10:30am-1pm M-F.

  • Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center

    Looking for volunteers 10-up to spend time with and provide companionship to neighbors living in their neighborhoods. Contact Shaire Chavez (schavez@ebenezer-cares.org or 842-2861) to learn more and complete an application. Background check required.



  • Brush Community Cupboard

    3rd Friday of the Month- Senior Food Delivery at Brush Methodist Church 9:40am-11am- Home boxed food delivered to seniors. Volunteers must provide their own transportation for deliveries.   They need to be able to lift/carry 40 pounds and also safely use stairs when carrying 40 pounds. Contact Brush Methodist Church at 970-842-2522 and leave a message.  Volunteers will be reached out to as needed.

United We Race

Our Annual United We Race Fundraiser

Each year we host an Amazing Race style competition between local businesses. Each team consists of two member who give it their all to represent their company!

They go through a carefully planned out, mentally and physically challenging course, racing to the finish!

How can I participate?

There are three ways that the community can join in on the fun of this event. It takes volunteers, businesses, and individuals to pull of this amazing event every year. Explore the options below.

Sponsor

Sign up to sponsor the event at one of the many levels available. Different sponsorship benefits are included at each level.

Enter a Team

Sign your business up to enter a team or several teams and gather you staff or friends to represent you at the race as competitor.

OR

Sign up as an individual and be placed on a team (or bring a team member) that doesn't have enough team members.

Volunteer

This is our biggest event of the year and could not be accomplished without the man power of our volunteers.

Each challenge in the race requires at least two volunteer judges along with set up/tear down and registration.
